Girls in Hats

It's cool how a hat can make one seem tomboyish or feminine depending on the rest of the outfit.

A ruffled blouse tones down a sporty hat and a skinny scarf makes an unisex blazer-and-pants ensemble flirty. I say experiment with the look and see if you can come up with a style that flatters you most.

My favorite look here is the fitted blouse and pants one, worn with pointy-toed flats. The model looks very pulled-together, but effortlessly so.

Wanted: Cropped Jacket

If I was in Taiwan right now, I'd so bid on this jacket from Yahoo! Taiwan's shopping site...

I May Get Pneumonia, But I Look Cute, Darn It!

Not very original, but actually practical and WARM.

It takes guts to wear this look with thigh-high stockings instead of tights. If I had super-toned legs, I'd go for it.

The dress is so cute worn like this, if the layering trend continues, this'll be a good piece we can wear over and over again.

Is this look too little girlish? The model looks like she's in a dollhouse.

Grey Matters

I love the patterned grey tights, they look warm too. If you wear socks and boots with them, this could be turned into a winter ensemble.

Ooh, headband, who knew that messy hair would look better with a headband?

Classic combo: Fitted sweater and a-line skirt. Almost everyone can wear this look and be lady-like in an istant.

I didn't get a cropped plaid jacket this year, I felt it was too trendy to last. But if you find a good deal on it and the look flatters your shape, why not?

All in the Details

Warm coats don't have to be dowdy, these outfits show some surprising ways to break up a bulky shape.
